The Gaslight Anthem heeft in de aanloop naar hun album History Books dat op 27 oktober verschijnt, hun nieuwe single Autumn uitgebracht.

Over deze track, zegt frontman Brian Fallon:

“I wrote that song on a really beautiful fall day, looking out the window and thinking, ‘How many days like this do we get to see? So much of life is just trying to get by, but every now and then you have those moments where you can really feel grateful for the small things.”

History Books

Op History Books staan in totaal 10 nummers, waarin de punk-rockband uit New Jersey thema’s zoals mentale gezondheid en menselijke verbondenheid verkent. Het album is geproduceerd door Peter Katis, een ervaren producer die bekend staat om zijn werk met gerenommeerde bands als The National, Interpol en Kurt Vile.
