Vandaag heeft Fozzy, geleid door superster Chris Jericho en de veelgeprezen gitaargoeroe Rich Ward, hun langverwachte nieuwe studioalbum Boombox uitgebracht via Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group (ex-NA). Boombox, Fozzy’s achtste album geproduceerd door Johnny Andrews, bevat de anthemische nieuwe single “I Still Burn”. De track staat momenteel op #24 in de Amerikaanse Active Rock Chart. De 12-track collectie bevat ook hun US Top 10 singles “Nowhere To Run” en “Sane”. Boombox, het vervolg op het album Judas uit 2017, is nu digitaal en op cd verkrijgbaar en later dit jaar ook op vinyl.

Fozzy introduceerde dit hoofdstuk in hun decennialange carrière in 2019 met de release van de gruizige rocker Nowhere To Run en volgde dat in 2021 op met Sane, een ode aan degenen die hun leven een beetje gekker leven dan de gemiddelde persoon. De nieuwste single van de band “I Still Burn” is een lied dat spreekt over Fozzy’s niet-aflatende drive. De officiële muziekvideo voor “I Still Burn” is sinds de release vorige maand meer dan 700.000 keer bekeken. Elders op Boombox is de powerballad “Army of One”, arena-ready “Purifier” en een onverwachte cover van Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s “Relax”.
