The winners of the Music Moves Europe Awards 2025 are revealed, celebrating the extraordinary musical diversity within Europe. Out of 15 nominees from all over Europe, 6 winners were awarded with 7 awards during the annual ceremony at ESNS festival in Groningen, The Netherlands on January 16.

– Glenn Micallef – EU Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport, who attended the ceremony and handed the MME Public Choice Award 2025 to Judeline from Spain.
Judeline also won an MME Award 2025 together with Kingfishr from Ireland, Naomi Sharon from Netherlands, Night Tapes from Estonia and UCHE YARA from Austria. The prestigious MME Grand Jury Award was presented to Yamê from France.
Jury Members
The MME Awards 2025 welcomed a renewed independent jury, including; Jess Iszatt (BBC Introducing), Filip Košťálek (Festival Colours of Ostrava), Kenza Naaimi – El Fezzazi (FIP), Annika Walsh (Spotify). In addition, each year the MME Public Choice Award winner of the previous year joins the jury. This year this seat is taken by Zaho de Sagazan from France.
Prize package
The MME Award winners receive €10.000 each. The winner of the Grand Jury Award receives an additional green touring voucher worth €5.000. The winner of the Public Choice Award is being granted €5.000.
European Union Prize
The Music Moves Europe Awards (MME Awards) is the annual European Union Prize celebrating the emerging artists who represent the European sound of today and tomorrow.
The MME Awards are designed to accelerate the international careers of upcoming European artists. Former winners include; Zaho de Sagazan, Stromae, ROSALÍA, girl in red, Dua Lipa, Hozier, Jerry Heil, Meduza and Rimon.
Showcases, Education Programme and Artists promotion
Following the awards ceremony, the nominees took the stages in Groningen in front of music professionals and fans at ESNS 2025. This annual music showcase festival and conference is visited by more than 40.000 from around the globe in January. Additionally all 15 nominees and their teams and many young music professionals were invited for the MME Education Programme. This program provides insights into best practices in the music industry to enhance their knowledge to grow their careers. This year’s topics covered ‘101’ workshops on music rights and international touring, a syncing panel, the Inclusive RiderE and much more. Additionally, Spotify offers the Public Choice MME Award winner an exclusive recording session in their Stockholm studio to produce a Spotify Single. And two of the MME Awards nominees are invited to record a Deezer Session in Groningen.
