After two EPs, ‘Lost On A Star’ is Tobias Bader’s first full-length album under his own name. The album was previously released under To Be Frank Records, but because the label has stopped, the album is now being re-released independently. ‘Rise And Fall’ is a versatile album with its own unmistakable sound.
Tobias Bader collaborated on four songs with the award-winning jazz pianist Brad Mehldau. Diederik Nomden, Dee Dee Dekkers, Ute Passionflower and The Jay Horns can also be heard.
The album was mixed by American producer Michael Vail Blum (including Madonna, Suicidal Tendencies and Roger Daltrey)

Tobias Bader, who comes from Berlin and lives in Amsterdam, makes accessible vintage pop music with clear sixties and seventies influences. He switches effortlessly between various styles of pop music, ranging from acoustic folk, roots and country to soul and disco, pop and rock. His characteristic voice and guitar playing ensure that the melodious songs always have their own recognizable sound. The poetic and visual lyrics are by Dick Sinnige, with whom Tobias Bader has written his extensive repertoire.
