heet de nieuwe release van de Australische rock-band The Murlocs, oftewel: “take it easy!”. Het Melbourne-vijftal bracht vorig jaar nog het ‘energetic, punky and psychedelic’ album “Rapscallion” uit, maar nu gaan de heren op de meer ‘serene, melodic, feelgood and laidback’ alt country-toer. Met leden uit bands als Orb, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Crepes en Beans kun je The Murlocs waarachtig een ‘dynamic musical collective’ noemen en op “Calm Ya Farm” hoor je dit keer ‘country infused psych rock; a free-flowing album of 12 wildly catchy tracks, with unexpected twists and turns, fully in touch with the frenetic energy of modern life’.
