Vrijdag 24 verscheen de nieuwe single ‘Wake Up’ van de in Nederland woonachtige, Israëlische zangeres en songwriter Roni Dot. Het nummer is op alle streamingdiensten te beluisteren en is de tweede track van het nog te verschijnen album later in 2023.

De single is haar tweede release via het Amsterdamse Revanche Records label.

Roni over ‘Wake Up’: Wake Up is a written wake-up call about a former relationship, in which I kept asking to be seen, to be really listened to, feeling like my words were meaningless. I would like to raise the same questions to the listeners: Are you really present in your life? Are you really listening to the people around you, the ones you love? Your partner, your child? Or are you carried away with the stream of life, sucked into your phone and tasks, spending more time online then in your real life?

Eerder verscheen de single ‘Frozen’ met een prachtige videoclip. De clip betrof een internationale samenwerking tussen Conni Trommlitz (Duitsland), Eilit Marom (Israel) en Roni Dot.
