Duran Duran today release their new single ‘ALL OF YOU’, taken from their acclaimed fifteenth studio album, ‘FUTURE PAST’.
The soaring track encapsulates the true heart and classicism of Duran Duran, taken from a genre-spanning new album that once again sees the band continuing to charge forward sonically and stylistically. Speaking about the track, singer Simon Le Bon said: “ALL OF YOU may well be the TWDMF – the Track Wiv Da Mos Funk – on the album. Listen to the desire, listen to the obsession, in a never-ending love affair with music. It tells you pretty much everything you need to know about Duran Duran.”
After 40 incredible multi-platinum years dominating the charts, selling-out arenas and gracing the covers of magazines all over the world, Duran Duran were recently announced as nominees to be inducted by the 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Set to continue their 40th anniversary celebrations, Duran Duran will perform at a series of huge summer headline shows across the UK and Europe. Tour dates HERE
The upcoming live dates will begin with a very special three-night experience in Ibiza, ‘Duran Duran: Touch The Sunrise’, taking place over the May Bank Holiday Weekend, from 29th April – 2nd May, as part of Pete Tong’s IMS Ibiza Summit. This will be an exclusive, event-filled weekend with DJ sets, outdoor film screenings and a closing Duran Duran headline show to remember, marking the first time the band have played on the island since 1987.
The band will also perform huge outdoor shows at St Anne’s Park, Dublin, Castle Howard, Yorkshire, Rock in Rio Lisboa, Lisbon, a headline set at the Lytham Festival and Inverness’ Caledonian Stadium before their much-anticipated first London headline show in six years at Hyde Park’s British Summer Time on 10th July.
Since the release of FUTURE PAST Duran Duran have continued to make record-breaking world firsts. The band’s first official NFT drop saw a collaboration between artists operating on different planes of existence – Duran Duran and Huxley, a unique dreamer with its own A.I. brain. The band took this a whole step further, announcing another world first project connecting the NFTs to newly planted, native trees in New Zealand. These living NFT(rees) are traceable on the blockchain and part of an initiative to start new micro forests around the world.
Duran Duran’s new album ‘FUTURE PAST’ marked the band’s highest charting album in sixteen years and was met with widespread critical acclaim. It has been described as an album “that looks firmly to the future” by Rolling Stone UK, “classic Duran” by The Times, “a blast” by CLASH, “Duran Duran at their best” in The Sun and, “all a fan could want” by the Evening Standard.
