DEADLETTER scoorde een indie hit met hun single ‘Binge’. Het was de eerste kennismaking met het Londense vijftal dat dansbare post-punk maakt door het ritmische van LCD Soundsystem te combineren met de felheid van The Gang of Four en The Fall.

Hun nieuwste single is ‘The Snitching Hour’. Het is de eerste muziek sinds hun veelgeprezen debuut EP ‘Heat!’.

Over The Snitching Hour, hier op Spotify te beluisteren, zegt frontman Zac Lawrence: “Are we slowly but surely being tacitly tempted into a culture of casual betrayal? The messages we are fed, on the outside, might be read as being solely in the interest of public safety – but take a closer look, and perhaps there’s a more insidious undertone to it all…”

Behalve warm en enthousiast te worden onthaald door internationaal toonaangevende tastemakers, is DEADLETTER dankzij hun sterke live reputatie intussen uitgegroeid tot één van de meest opwindende live acts van het moment.

De nodige meters werden in 2022 gemaakt met headline shows, maar ook als support act voor Yard Act, Tropical Fuck Storm en Do Nothing. Bovendien toerden ze in de hoedanigheid van voorprogramma ook mee met Placebo tijdens hun EU arena tour.

In april, mei en juli is DEADLETTER te zien in Nederland en België. Hun speellijst ziet er als volgt uit:
