They rocked their home gig at Nuremberg’s Hirsch and thrilled the Munich fans as support for Massive Waggons. After exhilarating live gigs in late summer, the motto for BRUNHILDE is now: back to the studio! Because after the album is before the album! And so, today the band announces the release of their new single Friendly Fire on November 19th, 2021. And it’s a really strong foretaste of the new BRUNHILDE album, which, according to singer Caro Loy, is already scheduled for release in summer 2022. Caro continues:
“I was inspired to write this song by the tragic death of a US sports star, who died at the age of 27 in the Afghanistan war for his fatherland!”
A serious topic for a crossover metal band that spreads so much fun on stage. “Yes, it’s a fierce topic,” the singer explains. “But as often, the music was the deciding factor first. We had developed a piece in the studio with a martial rhythm, shortly after which I fittingly came across the theme.”
– Shortly before BRUNHILDE received support from “Initiative Musik”, which will support the band in various projects in the near future.
Caro: “We are very grateful to the decision-makers at ‘Initiative Musik’. With this great support, we can not only release the single in advance, but also shoot an official video for it. There are already some really great ideas for it.”
Another single release is planned before Christmas 2021. And then it’s back on the road for BRUNHILDE. First on December 28th, 2021 as guests of Motörizer in Hamburg. And then Caro and the rest of the band will prove once more at their two shows on January 15th, 2022 in Hamburg (Headcrash) and on January 16th in Cologne (Blue Shell) that they are not only a force in the studio, but also on stage!
