Op 27 juni brengt Bruce Springsteen zeven nooit eerder verschenen albums uit. Op Tracks II: The Lost Albums staan 83 songs die hij tussen 1983 en 2018 opnam in zijn thuisstudio. Sommige albums waren zelfs al gemixt, maar hij bracht ze nooit uit, tot deze zomer dus. Vandaag verschijnt de tweede single Blind Spot.

Die song is afkomstig van het ‘lost album’ Streets of Philadelphia. Daarop wordt de meeste muziek door Bruce zelf gespeeld en zingt hij over twijfel en verraad in relaties. Over Blind Spot vertelt hij: “That was just the theme that I locked in on at that moment. I don’t really know why… But sometimes if you lock into one song you like then you follow that thread. I had this song, and I followed that thread through the rest of the record. It was a very dark album which was one of the reasons, maybe, that it didn’t come out at the time that I recorded it.” Twee weken geleden verscheen de eerste single Rain In The River.
