De snel opkomende alt-rock singer-songwriter Blondshell heeft het nummer Disappointment van The Cranberries uitgebracht vooruitlopend op haar eigen debuutalbum Blondshell dat op 7 april verschijnt.

Over de cover laat Blondhell weten:
“I wanted to sing a song off of No Need To Argue, which is one of my favorite albums ever. Dolores’ voice carries so much emotion throughout the entire album, not just on the big hits like ‘Zombie,’ but on the more understated songs as well. ‘Disappointment’ hits me so hard because it feels like heartbreak disguised as apathy. I wanted to sing the song how I heard it, with the intensity of the pain behind those airy, relaxed vocals and drums.”

Sabrina groeide op in New York waar ze door haar rock-liefhebbende vader is opgevoed. Ondanks dat er om haar heen door leeftijdsgenoten enkel naar cliché popnummers werd geluisterd, luisterde Sabrina naar bands als The Rolling Stones. Hierin vond zij inspiratie en begon ze met het schrijven van liedjes op haar gitaar en piano. Ze staat dan ook bekend om haar doordachte songteksten in combinatie met catchy alt-rock riffs.
