London-based, New Zealand-born singer-songwriter BLAIR JOLLANDS is pleased to announce his brand-new album ‘Little Comet’ on 6th March 2025, accompanied by a feature video for ‘Wading In The Water’ and an exclusive album headline show at Water Rats in London on 6thMarch.

‘Wading in the Water’ follows on from previous singles, ‘The Breaking’, ‘Don’t Cry’, ‘Make Love Great Again’, and ‘Cruel World’ and continues Blair’s musical evolution. He says: “This song is a road trip down the southern Alps of my hometown, in Aotearoa, New Zealand, and collides into a tumultuous whirlwind of unexpected twists testing the deepest of faiths. It embraces not only the light but the darkness and salutes Love, loss, joy, and grief.”

Little Comet’ is Blair’s 4th studio Album, consisting of all original compositions, recorded in 2024 in London, Spain & Nigeria. “It’s a double dose of melodies, transporting lyrics and audible imagery through space and time splash landing in the Mohave desert”, explains Jollands. “I set out to write a 5 song EP, but gems kept coming, who was I to ignore”.

He goes on to add: “Every album I do has a concept and a sense of direction. The most important idea for this album was movement. Something new is introduced throughout, both chorus or verse, whether vocal or instrumentation, a different rhythm or an unexpected style.”

Tales from the road. Tales from the heart. LITTLE COMET is one’s truth. A Dia De Los Muertos dance for mortals & ghosts. A search for solace and truth. This is Blair’s symphony of celebration in the face of adversity. A modern-day punk Four Seasons. A rebellion of rhymes to shake the very foundations of the genre. Brutally honest and loyal to those who have passed before us.
