After a triumphant critically acclaimed set at the Park Stage at Glastonbury, visionary singer, songwriter & producer Alison Goldfrapp today shares a Yotto remix of “So Hard So Hot”,  listen here.  The original version of the song appears on her recently released, critically acclaimed debut solo album, ‘The Love Invention’.

The “So Hard So Hot” (Yotto Remix) glitches and swirls with arpeggiating synths and Alison Goldfrapp’s sultry vocals, the original track has been warped by Yotto’s penchant for atmospheric sound design and big-room drum programming. The arrangement reaches monolithic proportions at its peak, contorting with high-frequency drone sounds and jagged, machine-like melody.

Yotto delves into the remix collaboration;  “I have been a huge fan of Alison’s voice ever since I heard her on Lovely Head & Black Cherry – two essential records from my teenage years. Remixing this solo record was a pleasure, I was very excited to take the funky original into a clubbier territory & can’t wait to hopefully work with her again in the future!”

“The Love Invention” is a bountiful 11-track compendium, bursting with anthemic synth-led jaunts and unrivalled forward-facing pop music innovation. The album marks Alison’s reawakening, an intoxicating showcase of the disco and house influences that have always been at the heart of her musical DNA.
